Traffic Announcement: Road Closures and Traffic Diversions along Jalan Bridge 21/64, Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara from 1 April 2024 to 1 July 2024

KUALA LUMPUR – 28 MARCH 2024: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be a continuation of intermittent road closures and traffic diversions at Jalan Bridge 21/64 (from Petron to Kayu Ara Business Park) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 1 April 2024 to 1 July 2024, (Monday to Saturday), from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am at the following locations:

Location 1: Both lanes at Jalan Bridge 21/64 in front of the housing area to the junction at Jalan PJU 6A/3 (near Kayu Ara Business Park) will be closed.

• Motorists from Jalan Bridge 21/64 near Petronas heading towards Kayu Ara Business Park will be diverted by making a U-turn opposite the Proton Car Dealership back to Jalan Masjid and then to Lorong Masjid.
• Motorists from Kayu Ara Business Park heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted to Lorong Masjid and then to Jalan Masjid.

Location 2: Both lanes at Jalan Bridge 21/64 in front of the parking lot and the housing area will be closed.

• Motorists from Jalan Bridge 21/64 near Proton Car Dealership heading towards Kayu Ara Business Park will be diverted by making a U-turn opposite the Proton Car Dealership back to Jalan Masjid and then to Lorong Masjid.
• Motorists from Kayu Ara Business Park heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted by making a U-turn opposite the housing area at Jalan Bridge 21/64 to Lorong Masjid and then to Jalan Masjid. 

Location 3: Both lanes at Jalan Bridge 21/64 in front of Petronas NGV and Proton will be closed.

• Motorists from Jalan Bridge 21/64 near Petronas heading towards Kayu Ara Business Park will be diverted by making a U-turn near Petronas back to Jalan Masjid and then to Lorong Masjid.
• Motorists from Kayu Ara Business Park heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted by making a U-turn near the housing area at Jalan Bridge 21/64 to Lorong Masjid and then to Jalan Masjid.

Location 4: Both lanes at Jalan Bridge 21/64 in front of the empty land (next to the traffic lights) to Petronas NGV will be closed.

• Motorists at Jalan Bridge 21/64 from Petron heading towards Kayu Ara Business Park will be diverted by turning to Jalan Masjid and then to Lorong Masjid.
• Motorists from Kayu Ara Business Park heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted to Lorong Masjid and then to Jalan Masjid.

Location 5: Both lanes at Jalan Bridge 21/64 near Petron and Perodua will be closed.

• Motorists from Plus Highway (Damansara-bound) heading to Jalan Masjid will be diverted to Jalan Melor 1.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ).
