Traffic Announcement: Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions at PLUS and SPRINT Highway (parallel to Jalan Bridge 21/64) from 18 July 2024 to 31 July 2024

KUALA LUMPUR – 16 JULY 2024: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be intermittent lane closures and traffic diversions on PLUS and SPRINT highway (Klang and Damansara-bound, parallel Jalan Bridge 21/64) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 18 July 2024 to 31 July 2024 (Monday to Saturday),11.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. at the following locations:

Closure 1: Slip road at the Kayu Ara interchange on SPRINT Highway (NKVE/ opposite Petronas NGV, Damansara-bound) will be closed intermittently.

• Motorists heading towards Jalan SS21/1, Jalan SS22/43 and making a U-turn at the Kayu Ara Interchange will be diverted as shown on the map below:

• For motorists coming from the SPRINT highway (NKVE/ Damansara-bound) heading towards Jalan SS21/1 will need to keep left
• For motorists coming from SPRINT highway (NKVE/ Damansara-bound) heading towards Jalan SS22/43 or intending to make a U-turn back to NKVE (Klang-bound), they will need to make a ‘U’ turn at the Damansara Utama interchange (opposite Damansara police station) then keep left to head towards Jalan SS22/43 or keep right to head towards NKVE (Klang-bound).

The above diversions are shown on the map below:

Closure 2: Slow and middle lanes at PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) starting from opposite Hardware Store to opposite Petronas will be closed intermittently.

• Motorists from PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) and Kayu Ara interchange at SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted as shown on the map below.

Closure 3: Fast lane at PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) starting from opposite Hardware Store to opposite Petronas will be closed intermittently.

• Motorists from PLUS highway (Damansara-bound) heading towards SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) and Kayu Ara interchange at SPRINT highway (Damansara-bound) will be diverted as shown on the map below:

At one time, only one (1) closure will be implemented. Highway users are advised to follow the diversion signs posted. The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM).
