Traffic Notice: Long-term road closure on Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (opposite Merchant Square) to facilitate LRT3 preliminary works from 8 March 2019 to 17 July 2020

Please be informed that with the approval of Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), there will be a 24-hour road closure from 8 March 2019 to 17 July 2020 on Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 (opposite Merchant Square) to facilitate LRT3 preliminary works.

The closure will be implemented in stages as follows:

• Stage 1 (8 March 2019): Preparation works
• Stage 2 (9 March 2019 to 11 March 2019): Three-day trial run road closur
• Stage 3 (12 March 2019 to 17 July 2020): Long-term road closure for 16 months.

During this time, motorists using this road will be diverted to the opposite lane of Jalan Tropicana Selatan 1 as indicated by the GREEN arrows on the map below:
