Traffic Announcement: Continuation of Road Closures and Traffic Diversions to Facilitate LRT3 Construction Works from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 30 December 2019: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be continuation of road closures and traffic diversions at the following locations below:

Closure A: Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang

(1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 Intermittent closure, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

 Purpose: To facilitate launching and other LRT3 construction works.

There will be a continuation of intermittent full road closures and traffic diversions along Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang (Grand Sepadu Highway-bound and AEON-bound). During the day, the closures will be re-opened, and traffic will resume as normal. During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

Closure B: Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang

(1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020, Intermittent closure, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

 Purpose: To facilitate pier cap launching works for the LRT3 project.

There will be a continuation of intermittent closure of right lanes (on both-bounds) of Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for a total stretch of 500m during the night. During the day, the closures will be re-opened, and traffic will resume as normal. During the intermittent closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

Closure C: Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang

(1 January 2020 to 30 June 2020, 24 hours)

 Purpose: To facilitate water pipe relocation works for the LRT3 project.

There will be a continuation of left-most lane closures on Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (Banting-bound). During the closure, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:
