SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 5 August 2020: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the main contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform the public that there will be an intermittent full road closure along Jalan Meru, Klang (Klang Town-bound) from 6 August 2020 to 5 August 2021, Monday to Sunday, 11:00p.m to 5:00a.m, to facilitate U-trough, pier cap, steel truss launching and station works for the LRT3 project.

During the closure, motorists from Kapar who are heading towards Klang town via Jalan Meru will be diverted through contra-flow. The diversion will start from the intersection of Jalan Pasar Baru and Jalan Meru until the intersection of Jalan Pekan Baru and Jalan Meru.

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Public Works Department (JKR) and Klang Municipal Council (MPK).

Throughout the Conditional Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works activities.
