SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR –13 April 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Lebuh Keluli to facilitate pier cap launching works for the LRT3 project from 16 April 2021 to 7 May 2021 (Monday to Sunday), from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. at the following locations:

Closure A: In front of shoplots on Lorong Keluli 7/1d and Pharmaniaga (between Lorong Keluli 1c and Lorong Keluli 1a junctions, Federal Highway 2-bound).

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

  • Motorists from Persiaran Kayangan heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Lorong Keluli 1c, Lorong Keluli 1a and head straight onto Federal Highway 2.
  • Motorists on Jalan Keluli 1 heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Lebuh Keluli and turn right on Lorong Keluli 1c, then head straight to Lorong Keluli 1a before heading towards Federal Highway 2.
  • Motorists from Persiaran Kayangan heading towards Jalan Keluli 1 will have to make a U-turn at the traffic lights junction opposite ASAC Logistics Sdn Bhd, then turn left onto Lengkuk Keluli 1 and head straight to Jalan Keluli 1.

Closure B: In front of Pharmaniaga, (between Lorong Keluli 1b and Lorong Keluli 1a junctions, Federal Highway 2-bound.)

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

  • Motorists from Persiaran Kayangan heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Lorong Keluli 1b, Lorong Keluli 1c, Lorong Keluli 1a and head straight onto Federal Highway 2.
  • Motorists on Jalan Keluli 1 heading towards Federal Highway 2 will be diverted onto Lebuh Keluli and turn left on Lorong Keluli 1c, then head straight to Lorong Keluli 1a before heading towards Federal Highway 2.
  • Motorists from Persiaran Kayangan heading towards Jalan Keluli 1 will have to make a U-turn at the traffic lights junction opposite ASAC Logistics Sdn Bhd and turn left onto Lengkuk Keluli 1, then head straight to Jalan Keluli 1.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Shah Alam Municipal Council (MBSA). Throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction works.
