SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 30 JULY 2021: MRCB George Kent, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be temporary lane closures and traffic diversions on Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur-bound) and Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Lapangan Terbang Subang & Federal Highway-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 30 July 2021 to 18 August 2021 (Monday to Sunday), from 11:00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m. at the following locations:

Stage 1:

Both lanes heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 30th July 2021 to 13th August 2021 During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading to Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51, Jalan Kemajuan Subang, Subang-Kelana Jaya Link and finally back into Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.
  • Motorists from Jalan Rektor U1/7, Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and Jalan Canselor U1/13A heading to Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted onto Jalan Kerjaya, Persiaran Kerjaya,Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51,Jalan Kemajuan Subang Subang-Kelana Jaya Link and finally back into Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang.
  • The road closures and traffic diversions are as shown on the map below:

Stage 2:

The rightmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya and leftmost lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 31st July 2021 to 14th August 2021. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists from Persiaran Kerjaya and Federal Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur as shown on the map below:

Stage 3:

Two (2) lanes on Jalan Lapangan terbang Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be closed from 1st August 2021 to 15th August 2021. During the closures, motorists will be diverted to the right lane as shown on the map below:

 

Stage 4:

Two (2) lanes heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang will be closed from 2nd August 2021 to16th August 2021. During the closures, motorists will be diverted to the left lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 5:

The rightmost lane heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang and two lanes heading towards Federal highway will be closed from 3rd August 2021 to 17th August 2021. During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists heading towards Federal Highway and motorists heading towards Lapangan Terbang Subang will be diverted to the left lane as shown on the map below:

Stage 6:

Three (3) lanes heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be closed from 4th August 2021 to 18th August 2021. During the closures, motorists heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be diverted to the right lane as shown on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 1, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
