Media Release: Lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near the Damansara Interchange KM 17.0 and Ramp D (DMR1.4) nearby Merchant Square (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound & Shah Alam / Subang-Bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 15 July 2022 to 30 September 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 15 JULY 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) near the Damansara Interchange KM 17.0 and Ramp D (DMR1.4) nearby Merchant Square (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound & Shah Alam / Subang-Bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 15 July 2022 to 30 September 2022, 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

Stage 1: The fast lane on Ramp D (DMR1.4) (KL / Shah Alam-bound) nearby Merchant Square will be closed from 15 July 2022 to 24 July 2022.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on Ramp D (DMR1.4) heading towards KL / Shah Alam bound as indicated on the map below:

Stage 2: The rightmost lane and the slow lane on Ramp D (DMR1.4) (KL / Shah Alam-bound) nearby Merchant Square will be closed from 25 July 2022 to 31 July 2022.

During the closure, one (1) temporary lane will be made available to motorists on Ramp D (DMR1.4) heading towards KL / Shah Alam bound as indicated on the map below:

 

Stage 3: The leftmost lane, slow lane and the middle lane (KL / Shah Alam-bound) will be closed from 1 August 2022 to 15 August 2022.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Shah Alam / KL-bound as indicated on the map below

Stage 4: The rightmost lane and the middle lane (KL / Sungai Buloh-bound and Shah Alam / Subang-bound) will be closed from 16 August 2022 to 31 August 2022.

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound and Shah Alam / Subang-bound as indicated on the map below:

Stage 5: The rightmost lane, middle lane and the slow lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 1 September 2022 to 15 September 2022.

During the closure, one (1) temporary lane will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound as indicated on the map below:

Stage 6: The leftmost lane, slow lane and the middle lane (Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound) will be closed from 16 September 2022 to 30 September 2022.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on NKVE Highway heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Sungai Buloh-bound as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS).
