Media Release: Lane closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang near LRT2 Glenmarie Station (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound & Subang Airport-Bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 30 August 2022 to 30 November 2022

KUALA LUMPUR – 26 AUGUST 2022: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd (formerly known as MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang near LRT2 Glenmarie Station (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound & Subang Airport-Bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 30 August 2022 to 30 November 2022 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages: 

Stage 1: The leftmost lane and middle lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Subang Airport-bound), the leftmost lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya and rightmost lane from Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang/NKVE Highway will be closed from 30 August 2022 to 30 September 2022.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards the Subang Airport and Persiaran Kerjaya. Motorists from Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang/NKVE Highway will be diverted to the immediate left lane as indicated on the map below:


 

Stage 2: The rightmost lane, middle lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang (Subang Airport-bound), the leftmost lane heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya and rightmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang/NKVE Highway will be closed from 1 October 2022 to 24 October 2022.

During the closure, motorists on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards the Subang Airport will be diverted to the immediate left lane heading towards the NKVE then back onto the lanes heading towards the Subang Airport. Motorists heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya will be diverted to the immediate right lane. Motorists from Persiaran Kerjaya heading towards Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang/NKVE Highway will be diverted to the immedaite left lane as indicated on the map below:

 

 

Stage 3: The rightmost lane and the middle lane on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang both Subang/KL and Subang Airport-Bound and the leftmost lane heading to Persiaran Kerjaya will be closed from 25 October 2022 to 15 November 2022.

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound and Subang Airport-bound and one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on Jalan Lapangan Terbang Subang heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya as indicated on the map below:

 

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling.
