KUALA LUMPUR – 31 MARCH 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions along Persiaran Kerjaya, Shah Alam (both Shah Alam and Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 3 April 2023 to 15 April 2023 (Monday to Sunday), 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

Stage 1: Left-lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) before LRT2 Glenmarie junction and both lanes on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) from LRT2 Glenmarie junction to Temasya 8 heading towards Shah Alam will be closed from 3 April 2023 to 4 April 2023.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Subang heading towards Shah Alam are required to turn right onto Jalan Presiden F U1/1, then turn left to Jalan Presiden U1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).
  • Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Subang heading towards LRT2 Glenmarie (Shah Alam-bound) are required to turn right onto Jalan Jalan Presiden F U1/1, then turn left to Jalan Presiden U1/1 and turn left onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from LRT2 Glenmarie heading towards Shah Alam will be diverted to the leftmost lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound), turn left onto Jalan Presiden F U1/1, then turn left to Jalan Presiden U1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).

The diversions are shown in the map below:

Stage 2: Left-lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) before LRT2 Glenmarie junction, left lane at the traffic light junction on Persiaran Kerjaya, opposite Glenmarie Garden and both lanes on Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound) from Caltex until LRT2 Glenmarie junction heading towards Kuala Lumpur / Subang will be closed from 5 April 2023 to 6 April 2023.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards Kuala Lumpur /Subang are required to turn left onto Jalan Presiden U1/1, then turn right to Jalan Presiden F U1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from Jalan Doktor U1/67 heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound) are required to head straight to Jalan Presiden U1/1 then turn right to Jalan Presiden F U1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from Kuala Lumpur / Subang heading towards LRT2 Glenmarie will be diverted to the rightmost lane then turn left on Persiaran Kerjaya and head to LRT2 Glenmarie.
  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards LRT2 Glenmarie (Kuala Lumpur / Subang-bound) are required to turn left onto Jalan Presiden U1/1, then turn right to Jalan Presiden F U1/1 and turn right onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).

The diversions are shown in the map below:

Stage 3: Both lanes at the traffic light junction on Persiaran Kerjaya opposite DRB-Hicom, all lanes on Persiaran Kerjaya nearby EON Berhad until LRT2 Glenmarie junction (both Shah Alam and Subang/Kuala Lumpur-bound), right-lane on Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51 (Kuala Lumpur /Subang-bound) and right-lane on Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) before LRT2 Glenmarie junction will be closed from 7 April 2023 to 15 April 2023.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as below:

  • Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards KL/Subang are required to turn left onto Jalan Usahawan U1/8, then turn right onto Jalan Rektor U1/7, Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Presiden F U1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Subang-bound).
  • Motorists from KL/Subang heading towards Shah Alam are required to turn right onto Jalan Presiden FU1/1, Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Rektor U1/7, Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).
  • Motorists from KL/Subang heading towards Temasya 8 are required to turn right onto Jalan Presiden FU1/1, Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Rektor U1/7, and turn left onto Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (KL/Subang-bound) then turn right onto Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51, Jalan Perpustakawan U1/62 and Jalan Doktor U1/67.
  • Motorists from LRT2 Glenmarie heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) are required to turn right onto Persiaran Kerjaya (KL/Subang-bound) then turn left onto Jalan Presiden FU1/1, Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Rektor U1/7, and turn left onto Jalan Usahawan U1/8 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound).
  • Motorists on Jalan Pengaturcara heading towards KL/Subang will be diverted onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Shah Alam-bound) then turn right to Jalan Usahawan U1/8, Jalan Rektor U1/7, Jalan Presiden U1/1, Jalan Presiden FU1/1 and head back onto Persiaran Kerjaya (Subang-bound).
  • Motorists on Jalan Doktor U1/67 heading towards Persiaran Kerjaya will require to make a U-turn and turn right onto Jalan Perpustakawan U1/62, Jalan Pengaturcara U1/51 and head onto Persiaran Kerjaya.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling (JKR Petaling).
