Media Release : Traffic Announcement Road Closures And Traffic Diversions On Jalan Langat, Klang On 10 July 2023 To 21 December 2023

KUALA LUMPUR, 7 JULY 2023: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat traffic light junctions (at traffic light junctions (opposite Jalan Bayu Tinggi and Jalan Sri Sarawak shop lots, (Klang and Banting-bounds), and Jalan Batu Unjur (Banting-bound)) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 10 July 2023 to 21 December 2023, (Monday to Sunday) from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted as indicated on the map below:

• Motorists from Banting heading towards Klang will be diverted onto Jalan Batu Unjur slip road, make a U-turn at the traffic light junctions before heading straight towards Jalan Langat (Klang-bound).
• Motorists from Jalan Batu Unjur heading towards Banting will be diverted onto Jalan Langat (Klang-bound), make a U-turn at the traffic light junctions before heading straight towards Jalan Langat (Banting-bound).
• Motorists from Klang heading towards Jalan Batu Unjur will be diverted onto Jalan Langat (Banting-bound), make a U-turn underneath the flyover and head back onto Jalan Langat (Klang-bound) before heading towards Jalan Batu Unjur slip road.

The diversions are implemented following the approval from the Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK) and Klang Public Works Department (JKR Klang).
