Traffic Announcement: Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions on Federal Highway (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) from 7 June 2024 to 10 June 2024

KUALA LUMPUR – 4 JUNE 2024: Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on Federal Highway, opposite Petronas and Shell petrol stations (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) to facilitate LRT3 project-related works from 7 June 2024 to 10 June 2024, (Friday to Sunday) from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The lane will be closed in following stages:

Stage 1: The left most and middle-lanes of Federal Highway (Klang-bound) will be closed from 7 June 2024 to 8 June 2024.

During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading towards Klang as indicated on the map below:

Stage 2: The fast-lanes on Federal Highway, (Kuala Lumpur and Klang-bounds) will be closed from 8 June 2024 to 9 June 2024.

During the closure, two (2) lanes will be made available for motorists heading towards Kuala Lumpur and Klang as indicated on the map below:

Stage 3: The left most and middle-lanes of Federal Highway (KL-bound) will be closed from 9 June 2024 to 10 June 2024.
During the closure, one (1) lane will be made available for motorists heading towards KL as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR).
