Media Release: lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) nearby Kelana D’Putera Condominium and Persada PLUS (Subang & Kuala Lumpur-bound) from 30 September 2021 to 30 November 2021

SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR – 25 SEPTEMBER 2021: MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MRCBGK), the contractor of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, wishes to inform that there will be lane closures and traffic diversions on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) nearby Kelana D’Putera Condominium and Persada PLUS (Subang & Kuala Lumpur-bound) to facilitate Segmental Box Girder (SBG) launching and LRT3 project-related works from 30 September 2021 to 30 November 2021 (Monday to Sunday),11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the following stages:

Closure A: The leftmost and middle lanes of NKVE (nearby Kelana D’Putera Condominium) heading towards Subang Toll will be closed from 30 September 2021 to 19 October 2021.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading towards Subang as indicated on the map below:

Closure B: The rightmost and middle lanes of NKVE (nearby Kelana D’Putera Condominium) heading towards Subang Toll and the left lane of NKVE from Shah Alam (Subang-bound) will be closed from 20 October 2021 to 3 November 2021.

During the closures, one (1) lane will be made available to motorists on both bounds as indicated on the map below:

Closure C: The rightmost and the middle lanes of NKVE (nearby Kelana D’Putera Condominium) heading towards Subang Toll, also both lanes from Shah Alam (Subang-bound) will be closed from 4 November 2021 to 30 November 2021.

Two (2) lanes will be made available to motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading towards Subang Toll. Motorists from Shah Alam heading towards Subang Toll will be diverted to the opposite side of NKVE Highway (Shah Alam-bound) via contra-flow traffic before heading back to NKVE Highway (Subang-bound). During this contra-flow traffic, the rightmost lane on NKVE Highway nearby Subang Toll (Kuala Lumpur-bound) will be closed as indicated on the map below:

The diversions are implemented following the approval from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) and Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS). Throughout the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 2, we will be following the guidelines of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) when carrying out our construction activities.
